South African public and private tenders

Know before you bid.

Over two thousand tenders are advertised at any one time. A handful are yours. Bekom shows you which, what you would be judged on, and what in your own paperwork is about to disqualify you, while there is still time to fix it.

Built on the official tender board. Plans from R500 a month, month to month.

What a week of reading gets you

Most of the South African tender board was never yours.

Not because you could not do the work. Because of category, scale, grading, documents, or a briefing in another province tomorrow morning. Finding tenders was never the hard part.

Counted off the official portal on 30 September 2026. The total moves a hundred either way week to week. The shape does not.

Why good bidders lose

A bid rarely fails on the work.

It fails on a date nobody surfaced, a document that quietly expired, or a tender that was never meant for you in the first place.

The briefing is the real deadline

A compulsory briefing is pass or fail, and it falls weeks before the closing date. Sort by closing date, the way every alert service does, and a tender that briefs tomorrow looks like it has a month left.

Your own paperwork ends most bids

A tax clearance that lapses four days before closing. An affidavit that went stale. A form unsigned on one page. None of it announces itself, and none of it is about whether you could have done the work.

Keywords cannot tell two businesses apart

Hundreds of tenders say "delivery". Almost all of them mean supply and delivery of goods, not a delivery service. A keyword match sends you every one, and the difference is the whole business.

The convincing order that was never real

Fraud against small suppliers works by sending an order for goods you then buy with your own money. If it is not on the official board, it is not a tender. Bekom only ever shows you what is.

How it works

Set it up once. Then read three things instead of two thousand.

  1. 01

Tell us what your business is

Your registration, your compliance documents, what you actually deliver and where. Once. Everything after this reads from it.

  2. 02

We read the board so you do not

Every tender on the official portal, plus private tenders listed directly by buyers on Bekom, measured against what you hold.

  3. 03

You get the few, in the order they bind

Briefings before closing dates. What you would be judged on. What is missing, and how long you have to fix it.

What you get

Fewer tenders, and a reason for each one.

Only what fits

The tenders you can deliver, separated from the ones you would need a partner for, and the ones you should leave alone.

Where you stand before you start

What the buyer will be scoring, and how your company measures against it, before the week is spent.

The deadline that actually binds

Compulsory briefings first, with the venue, the joining link and a code you can scan to get there.

Your pack, checked against the date

Every document you need, tested against that tender’s closing date rather than the day you last downloaded it.

Partners where you fall short

When a tender needs a grading or a document you do not hold, see exactly what is missing, so you can go and find the partner who has it.

Public and private, one board

Government tenders from the official portal, and private tenders published directly by buyers here as that side fills.

Pricing

Priced per company, not per keyword.

Charging by keyword is what makes an alert service want to show you more. We would rather show you less.
